Inspired Sense Nail Polish Swatches, Review, & Live Swatch

Hello!

Today I’m sharing with you some polishes I had picked up from a Canadian nail polish maker called Inspired Sense. 😊

There were a lot of really pretty polishes but I had picked up these ones to try. I clearly have some favourite shades 😅

Since this is my first time trying the brand, here are some info and my thoughts:
– Even though I fully expected the turn around time to be at least a week, I got my polishes super quickly and they came with a cuticle oil and a cuticle palm that both smell amazing. If I ever try them out, I’ll definitely provide a review
– Trish (owner) answered my questions very quickly when I reached out to her through Etsy where I first saw the shop, I appreciate when businesses answer in a timely manner
– the brand is 10 free, cruelty free and vegan
– the packaging fit everything perfectly with no excess waste, also I loved the addition of the “Happy Mail” stickers 😁
– the bottles are rectangular with a shiny black cap and it doesn’t say how many ml it holds, I can’t find it on their Etsy site either but it’s a bit smaller than the 15ml so maybe 11-13ml I would guess
– the brush is straight edged, flat and not too wide
– the bristles gave me no issues and the straight edge didn’t hinder me even though my nails are rounder near the cuticle
– the formulas are nice and quite easy to work with and I had no staining even though some of the shades were darker (yay!)

Overall I thought the polishes were really beautiful, I’m glad I gave them a try! 😊

Ok, all of my swatches are 2 coats and no top coat unless otherwise stated. Let’s get into it!

First up, Hugs from Inspired Sense is a holographic purple with a pink/blue shift. I thought the pink shimmer would be more apparent but it’s a bit more subtle than I thought it would be. Still a very pretty polish, the pink comes out much better once the sun hits your nails or in brighter lighting.

These next shots were done with flash to see if I could bring out more of the pink shimmer.

And this last shot I liked a lot because it really brought out the holo 😁

North Pole Glow is absolutely stunning and it shifts blue/silver/yellow/green/pink/gold. 😍 I used 3 coats for this one because it’s sheer. The site says you can layer over other colours to see its effect so I’ll have to try that one of these days! 😁

Timeless is a purple multichrome shifting through dark navy, dark purple, purple and fuchsia. Love the shifts in this one too!

It’s Flip Flop Time is a fuchsia shimmer. Such a fun and bright beauty! 😍

And finally, Turkish Delight is a fuchsia multichrome shifting through fuchsia/plum/burgundy/golden peach. This swatch is 3 coats. Under my bright lights you don’t see that much range but it’s absolutely stunning. Definitely a  favourite for me! 😍

I did some flash shots next to bring out that beautiful bright pink centre.

I took this next shot with my iPhone 12 Pro. In the sunlight that bright pink centre is on another level! The holo glitters is from Fairy Dust by China Glaze. 😊
