Gourmand Nail Art & What the Pluck Tweezer

Hello!

Today I’m sharing with you a super cute and easy mani I did using some of the nail art stickers from Cirque Colors’ Gourmand Ready-to-Wear Nail Art Stickers with the help of their What the Pluck Tweezer. 😁

The What the Pluck Tweezer is a pointed-tip nail art tool with rubber stopper at the opposite end that’s designed to lift, place and adjust nail art stickers and loose nail art decorations. The pointe-tip is actually super sharp so be careful when using it but it does come with a little plastic top to keep you and the tool safe.

As far as using the tool, it was easy to use once I got the hang of it. Since the tips are so sharp I had to be careful not to puncture the stickers while I was removing them from the sheet but as long as you’re using the edge to help pry the sticker off the sheet and then using the tweezer part to pick up and place the sticker on your nail then it should work well for you. I like that it’s so pointy because it was super easy to place the sticker onto my nail and place it just right without any obstruction from the tweezer itself.

Once I placed the sticker down I used the rubber end to help flatten the sticker against my nail instead of using my fingers like I usually do. 😂 It worked so nicely and helped to smooth out the sticker so the edges are less noticeable under the top coat.

The stickers themselves ranged from quite small to larger stickers which I really appreciate because I have deceptively small nail beds so normal nail stickers always look crazy big on me but here I was able to sometimes fit 4 stickers onto a nail which is such a feat in and of itself! 😅

There is a wide assortment of stickers to choose from including but not limited to martini drinks, corn, coffee, cakes, mushrooms, wine, eggs and much much more! A true smorgasbord if you will 😁

For my base I used Vanilla Bean from their Gourmand nail polish collection (see my swatches of the 6 piece collection here) and a top coat to seal everything in.

I do love the stickers though as I’m a huge foodie and I think it came out so cute and fun! Would be perfect as a summer mani where there are lots of sweets and treats involved. (Sign me up!!😁)

Well that’s all for today!

As always, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner 😊 Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
