What’s Up Beauty

Hello!

Today I’m sharing with you my review of some nail care products by What’s Up Beauty 😊

I have a nail care routine that I’ve used for many years now but I always like to try out new care products whenever I get a chance to. I’m a big fan of What’s Up Beauty and their nail polishes so when I was given the chance to try some of their care products I couldn’t resist. 😊

They had sent over 3 items: a glass file, cuticle oil and clean up brush. Although I do have a good relationship with the brand, my review will be honest as per usual.

First up for review is their Mermaid #3 Angular Brush. This one is so pretty and light! I wasn’t sure if it would be as colorful and pretty in person but it is! The colorful mermaid tail provides a great grippy surface. The brush itself is quite small measuring 1/4in (6mm) x 3/16in (5mm) and comes to a pretty fine tip which works really well for clean up. The bristles are really soft to the touch but definitely handled the clean up around my cuticles pretty nicely. It was also really easy to control because of how light it is which is great!

It’s also perfectly shaped to do one-stroke flowers but I haven’t done those in many many moons so if I ever do try to do them again, I’ll let you all know how the brush handles then. 😅

I think overall I really like the brush. Using it for clean up is exceptionally awesome.

The Mythical Cuticle Oil is a brush-on twist applicator but it’s bigger than others I’ve gotten/used in the past. It holds 0.15 fl oz (4.5 ml) and is a blend of sweet almond, coconut, walnut, baobab, kukui and passion fruit oils with Vitamin E. I don’t normally like a coconut scent but this one is so delicate and soft that I actually quite love it!

I usually apply it all over my nail bed and around the proximal nail fold, let it sit for a few minutes and then massage it into my skin. The oil absorbs into my skin within about 5 minutes or so, not too long and there isn’t a greasy feeling afterwards which is always nice. The skin around my nails always look and feel hydrated after using oil. I would recommend using it after washing my hands or whenever I feel like it. I like these brush-on applicators as they are easy to use and control. 😊

Definitely a good buy for anyone who likes to use a hydrating oil for their nails and surrounding areas.

And the last item I have to share with you is their Crystal Nail File which comes in a convenient pink hard case for easy storage. The glass file takes off length very quickly while being gentle on your natural nails. I really love that the base of the glass file is stuck to the plastic handle so it’s easy to hold while filing. At first I thought it’d be weird since my other files are just the glass piece but I got use to the plastic handle very quickly and definitely prefer it over just holding the glass file itself.

I personally only use glass files so I’m really happy that What’s Up has glass files to offer their customers. 😊

(Also, I do see they have some really pretty ones with the soft cases so if you don’t mind just holding the glass file, you might want to opt for one of those super pretty, sparkly ones! 😁)

Well that’s all for today!

Hopefully my review was helpful for you! 😁

As always, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner 😊 Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
