Top Nail Polish Picks for Halloween 2022

Hello October!

Today I thought I’d do something a little different. Halloween is DEFINITELY one of my favourite times of the year so I thought I’d share with you my top picks for Halloween-esque nail polishes that I’ve swatched by Sept 30 of this year. 😊

I know it’s always hard to pick favourites but I narrowed it down to these 13!😏 There are a mix of mainstream and indie brands, some that are still available and some that are no longer available (sorry about that!) but I hope you will enjoy my picks. 😊

Just keep in mind that these are in no particular order.

This first one is an absolute stunner with the green and purple magnetic effect that just screams Halloween to me. Not just the colours but the effect on the nail is pure perfection. 😍

Dream Within a Dream by Cirque Colors

I feel like the black jelly base with the different sized glitters creating that texture is perfectly suited for the season. I know it’s from their holiday collection but nail polish can span moods/seasons I think 😊

OPI’m a Gem by OPI

This feels a but more fall because it’s less moody and is much brighter than my other picks but an orange jack-o-lantern on anyone’s porch/stoop/lawn (etc) instantly reminds me of Halloween so this is a perfect addition in my humble opinion. 😁

Pumpkin Patch by ILNP

If this one isn’t Halloween in a bottle than I don’t know what is! The dark jelly base with different sized shimmery flakies is just awesome! I love the mix of larger flakies in here too!

Fallen Leaves by Krisable Designs

There’s going to be lots of texture so hang onto your nail polish caps! 😂 Another brighter polish but I LOVE the blue duochrome here with the textured glitters. Not every Halloween shade needs to be dark and moody, sometimes a bright blue is all you need to help you celebrate the holiday!

You Should Know Beta by China Glaze

Speaking of blue… and moody…. I love this one for Halloween! It’s the navy blue shimmer for me 😍

Kinda Shady by KB Shimmer

Why did I include this one you ask? It’s kind of a bit magical and I feel like the Wicked Witch of the West would SLAY in this one. 💚

Decked to the Pines by OPI

I love the chaos in this one. If you ever wanted a moody-but-make-it-rainbow Halloween polish, this is the one for you! It’s so fun and just subdued enough. Reminds me of a colourful candy bowl. Yum!

Evening Dress by Penelope Luz

Another magnetic from Cirque Colours because I absolutely ADORE the pinks/purples/blues in this one. How can one polish be so magical?! 😍

Mobius by Cirque Colors

I also love brighter polishes with dark glitters for a Halloween look so this one is perfect since I’m such a fan of this bright pink jelly too!

Pink is My Thing by Penelope Luz

Green is absolutely traditional for Halloween so I though this shimmery one with the blue jagged flakies fit the bill perfectly. 😊

Raptor Round My Fingers by China Glaze

One of my favourites from the Harvest Collection by ILNP. There’s something just gorgeous about this beautiful micro-flakie shade that is effortless and vampy.

Dakota by ILNP

And finally, Tulips Are Better Than One is so ethereal! I just love the red reflective glitters in this jelly teal base when the flash hits it. 😍
