ILNP Winter Wonderland Collection Swatches & Live Swatch

Hello!

Today I’m sharing with you the ILNP Winter Wonderland Collection. 😊 This collection will be available for pre-orders starting on Nov 11th at Harlow & Co.

The Winter Wonderland Collection is a curated set of 6 romance-inspired winter shades. Based upon a dreamy winter landscape full of sparkle and magic, each glistening formula beautifully showcases icy elements of sparkle reminiscent of a winter wonderland! – ILNP.com

Another exceptional collection full of beautiful finishes and gorgeous colours; ILNP always does a great job with their colour stories. 😍

All of my swatches are 2 coats and no top coat. Let’s get into the pictures!

First up, nested in a milky base, Snow Angel’s glistening white sparkle blissfully frolics between the layers of frosted white like the sun dancing on fresh snow. Delicately twinkling in the light, the iridescent ivory shimmer coupled with the careful addition of holographic splendor and silver metallic flakes give Snow Angel a dainty yet dazzling appearance.

Definitely on the sheer side but such a delicate beauty.

Sugar Plum’s deliciously rich mauve base is sweetened with an eye-catching magnetic flair! A striking metallic pink band shines through when magnetized, revealing a sprinkling of magenta shimmer and silver metallic flakes that sparkle like sugar crystals atop your nails!

For this swatch I left my pinky and middle finger unmagnetized, my index finger with the velvet look and did a line magnet for the ring finger.

I don’t know why but I’m so drawn to this shade of pink right now, it’s exudes elegance and sophistication but it has the playful sparkle of the holo and the gorgeous glow of the magnetic. Just so gorgeous!

Evermore is a beautifully romantic rose-tinged mauve Ultra Holo™ nail polish. Graceful and elegant, Evermore’s subdued pink base is embraced with radiant holographic pigment that beams an incredible rainbow sparkle in the sun. A subtle sprinkle of reflective silver flakes creates a sparkling surprise, faintly peeking through the warm rosy base for a touch of Winter magic.

I always forgot how amazing linear holos can be and this one is just STUNNING. 😍

Linear holos will always be my first (nail polish) love which explains my too-many-pictures below; couldn’t just pick a few!😁

Smitten is an incredibly reflective lavender Ultra Metallics™ nail polish.

A perfect partnership, Smitten’s delicate lavender hue plays alongside a twinkling magenta sparkle, a kiss of holographic flakes, and the lustrous addition of reflective silver flakes.

I fell in love with Juliette by ILNP (another one of their ultra metallics) and have since coveted the ultra metallics polishes. Such a beautiful combination of purple, holo flakies and silver flakies. 💕

Elsa is a glimmering icy light blue holographic shimmer nail polish.

A charmingly captivating iridescent blue sparkle rushes alongside holographic micro-flakes within a gentle blue base, creating a standout reflective finish that’s nothing short of magic. Crowned by a flurry of blue, silver, and purple iridescent flakes, Elsa truly represents a winter wonderland.

Because I did 2 coats, I don’t think it was dense enough to pick up the blues properly but you can very clearly tell by the bottle that the blue flakies are definitely there. Also because of the way I have my lights set up it didn’t really allow for the blues to come through as predominantly as it could have been. Perhaps a 3rd coat would have helped but I liked how it looked with just 2 coats so I decided to leave it with just 2 for this swatch. 😊

And finally, Zero Degrees is a midnight blue magnetic nail polish full of depth.

Zero Degrees showcases an icy-blue magnetic finish, but like the tip of an iceberg, there’s so much to see under the surface. A striking shift appears once magnetized, revealing an illuminating aura of metallic blue-to-teal sparkle. A wintery blue sparkle glistens alongside a splash of silver metallic flakes, perfectly complementing the intensity of Zero Degrees’ magnetic pull.

For my swatch I did an “X” magnetic on my pinky, a line magnetic on my ring finger, the velvet look on my middle finger and unmagnetized on my index finger. You can really see how the velvet look nail is so bright and glow-y and how the index finger is more of a refined shimmer. Both gorgeous. 💙

You can’t tell me that that blue glow isn’t just as mesmerizing as the sparkles from the silver flakies though, what a spectacular polish! Like a galaxy on my nails! 😍

Hi. Thanks for your beautiful swatches. I am new to magnetic polish; would you mind explaining how to do the velvet look, please? I would appreciate it.

      Thank you so much!

To do the velvet look, use a thicker coat of polish and hold your magnet at the tip of your nail, then the side of your finger and then the other side of your finger. You’ll see the particles move as you use the magnet and you’ll be able to see the particles disperse when you are doing the sides of the finger. You have to work pretty quickly with nail polish or use a thicker layer to make sure you have enough magnetic particles to work with. It takes some practice but once you start it’ll get easier.

      Good luck!
