New Years Eve Matte Frosted Tips Nail Art

Hello and Happy New Years Eve!

I can't believe another year has come and gone! To commemorate 2021, I've created this matte & glitter barely there "frosted tips" design. I don't think I've done anything matte this year other than swatches of matte nail polishes so this is a great way to end 2021 for me.

Before we get into the details of the design, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has shown up and supported me, either through here, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or by purchasing through my affiliates - I appreciate your kindness, thoughtfulness and support so very very much. This year has been wonderful for me in terms of my nail hobby; I have gotten to work with some amazing brands and companies and people and although there is a lot of work that I put in, I wouldn't have had the motivation to continue doing what I love without everyone's amazing support. You guys are the very reason I continue to do this, you have enabled me (mind & heart) to just be me and you've empowered me to put whatever I want out there into the universe.

Hopefully it's also put some happiness into your hearts and some smiles onto your beautiful faces. 😊💕

Ok, getting back to our regularly scheduled program.... 😁

I had thought about doing a matte look for quite a while but I just didn't have a good enough matte top coat - until now! 😄 Static Nails was kind enough to send me theirs and it works so nicely matting quickly and beautifully 😍

So why do I call this barely there? Well, there is a lot of space in the tips of the nails and as I was about to go fill it in some more, I was looking at the first coat of glitter with the matte black and I just thought it looked so cool and different and a little unfinished but finished and I just loved it so I stopped. Nail art never has to be what you think others want it to be, it's really about what you want and how it makes you feel. For me in this case, less truly was more.

Here is what I used:

Base coat: Yellow Stopper
Static Nails - Dark Room, Mattifier
Bow Polish - Timebomb

Well that's all for today!
