What's Up Nails - Shorter Days Collection Swatches & Live Swatch

Hello!

Today I have to share with you the Shorter Days Collection by What's Up Nails 😊

This is a 6 piece nail polish collection with some crellies, a flakie, some cremes and a drop dead gorgeous magnetic duochrome. 😍 If you purchase the whole collection, they will include a really strong magnet for you to be able to cat-eye/velvet nail like a champ! 😁

I am a big fan of What's Up Nails nail polish - their formulas are smooth and have excellent coverage, their brushes are soft, glide easily, and the bristles are on the shorter side which I find great for application control. I swooned over their first collection and their second collection shows that they are already pros at making beautiful nail polishes. Also, they are 12-free and cruelty free to boot!💓

Ok, let's get into the pictures!

First up is Lost Frost, a light blue crelly with blue iridescent shimmer. The shimmer is pretty subtle I thought and I couldn't really capture it but it is more apparent in person. The shade however is so beautiful! I love a fresh light (iced?) blue! 💙 Shown here in 2 coats and no top coat.

Tasting Trip is a dark burgundy brown creme. Such a saturated and lovely shade! The formula is so good, you could get away with 1 coat with proper application, but my swatches show 2 coats and no top coat.

Squid Escape is a dark blue crelly with multicolored iridescent flakies. For all those who are a fan of flakies, this one is SO NICE! I love that they were smaller flakies which complimented the navy so well. Shown here in 2 coats and no top coat.

Chrome Colored Glasses is a rose gold chrome shimmer. I had no idea that I was a sucker for rose gold but I really am 😍 It's just so delicate and beautiful and just overall lovely to look at and wear! Shown here in 2 easy coats and no top coat.

Bee or Not to Be is a yellow creme. All I could think about was the Honey Bee from Honey Nut Cheerios but that's a good thing, I love Honey Nut Cheerios! 💛 Another gorgeous shade that could be a 1 coater with the right application but shown here in 2 coats and no top coat because I like being extra 😄

And last but certainly not least, Horsehead Nebula is a purple duochrome magnetic nail polish with iridescent duochrome shimmer. This absolutely mesmerizing nail polish shifts from purple to gold to a hint of green. I took sooo many pictures of this one, with my DSLR and my iPhone so if you want to see all of the pictures I took that I thought were worthy of being posted but not here because this post is getting long enough, you can find that blog post here. 😁 Shown here in 2 coats and no top coat. Their magnet worked really well too!

This next picture has a top coat. 😊

Here is the live swatch video I made of this collection:

So there you have it! Another gorgeous nail polish collection by What's Up Nails! I can't wait for them to keep expanding their line because they definitely know what they're doing. Hoping for some linear holos and scattered holos in the future but we'll just have to wait and see what else they have up their sleeves!

This collection is available now so check out their website for many more swatches and videos!

I will eventually have the collection live swatches up but until then, let me know what you think about the collection in the comments below! 😊

As always, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner 😊 Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
