Simple Blue/Pink Nail Art

Today I'm sharing a simple design with you. I don't know if you know but I love this pink polish SO. MUCH. It is so soft and holo and pretty and girly and had perfect coverage 😍. That was a good sentence, I'm not changing it. 😆

I used striping tape to do my lines. Here are some of my thoughts when using striping tape:
 1. The best thing to do is to  make sure your base polish is completely dry before starting with the striping tape.
2. You can also apply a top coat before doing the design as well, that way you know for sure you won't be pulling the base polish off once you remove the striping tape.

3. Apply a thin coat of the blue polish and then remove the striping tape carefully, but deliberately (in 1 smooth motion) while the blue is still wet.
4. Use an opaque polish that doesn't require more than 1 coat as you don't want the polish to dry or else removing the tape can cause pulls and lifts of your lines and ruin the design.

Here is what I used for this design:
Polishes: Grace-full - Princess Rose (pink), Knight Silver Lake (blue)
Stickers: Amazon
Top Coat: SuperChic Lacquer - Marvel Liquid Macro

I've had people comment to me that using striping tape can be tricky, which is true, but, like with everything else, it just takes practice. The more you use it, the easier it'll get. No one starts out doing anything perfectly, and of course I'm still not perfect at it either, but you can't get comfortable with it until you try it. 😊

Well that's all for me today!

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner 😊 Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
