WNAC - Shattered Glass Nails

Loving these so much!!
When I first heard about this trend, I had no idea what it was. I was looking through the Instagram #shatteredglassnails tag and thought they looked pretty interesting but a bit too edgy for me.

It was decided that it'd be one of our #WNAC2015 prompts so I just went with it :)

Sometimes things turn out a whole lot better than you'd think they'd be and this was one of those times.

I used a pretty thick cellophane paper so my "glass shards" didn't want to lay down; this was fine with me, I thought the effect looked really cool, it just wasn't very practical to wear :)

I paired it with a black base since I find the iridescent colours come through better over a dark base.

For this look, I did not use a top coat.

I hope you like it! I was pleasantly surprised by this mani and had the shards been softer, I definitely would have worn this for a few days :) I guess I'll have to go find me some softer cellophane papers!

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.

    1. That's flattering I, I actually don't have photoshop nor have I ever used it. But I guess it's nice that someone thinks it's photoshop quality.. I think.. :) I don't touch-up my pictures or anything, I just take them and crop them and add my watermark and post. Thanks for your comment :)
