One-Stroke with Powder Perfect
Ready for some swirly nail art with some one-stroke practice? :)
When I got this collection from Powder Perfect, I was blown away by how gorgeous the polishes were; from the bottles to the formulas to the shades and the shimmer. I have the full Hardwick Collection swatches here for anyone who is interested in seeing the full line up.
I just used two polishes from the Hardwick Collection for this design: Sunset in the Valley (berry pink) and Woodcutter (beige) along with some pink and white acrylic paint to create my one-stroke detail.
I have a fascination with the one-stroke technique but I still need a lot more practice I think :)
It's ok, I like having some nail art goals :D
So much holo <3 |
This design was so much fun to wear just because there was a lot going on :D I loved the pop of the pink acrylic paint against the base I had created with a dry marble technique.
I hope you like it as much as I do!

I haven't nailed one-stroke yet, so it's on my list as well! I love the dry-marbled base you've created. I was examining it closely, trying to work out how you'd done it. At first I thought it was stamped, until I read further down. Is it like the needle marbling technique? I love it with those two holo polishes. :)
ReplyDeleteYes - it's another needle marbling - the only kind I like since it's not messy :D You just have to make sure you know when to stop swirling so it doesn't look like a blobby mess haha :)
DeleteEverything going on here works absolutely perfect together!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you think so! Thanks so much! :)
