July 2015 WNAC Round UP
I think I had a good month! :)
Some of my best work is when I do the WNAC so I'm soo happy to have it! For those who don't know, WNAC stands for Weekly Nail Art Challenge and my two favourite nailies (Cristine +Simply Nailogical and Kristin +Kristin Gardner ) host it with me. We not only create the challenge but we do our best to participate in as many as we can. We also have a feature page on Instagram WNAC_TKC that I run where I try and feature some of the amazing manis that our participants create under our WNAC; and trust me, there are some really amazing artists who's manis I happily share :)
So getting to the round-up portion of my post... lol!
July was a good month - it was a gradient theme and I got lots of practice!
We started with a dry brush gradient; I decided to try and actually dry brush a gradient onto a white base. Read the full post here. This is one of my favourite manis!
Next was animal print; I did a reversing gradient using striping tape. Read the full post here. Man that striping tape took a while... haha
3rd week was geometric; I was really happy with how this turned out. I love doing glitter placement (GP) but haven't found a lot of time to do that recently so I took the chance to do some and it was awesome if I do say so myself ;) Read the full post here.
4th week was scaled gradient; someone told me they thought this looked like cotton candy and it does look pretty sweet no?! (I'm a huge dork :D) Another favourite! Read the full post here.
And finally was negative space which I did with Miss Cristine from SimplyNailogical. This one has a pretty racey feel but I really liked it as well. Read the full post here.
So that's it! That was my July round-up! I hope you enjoyed it. :)
Here is the August 2015 WNAC for anyone who is interested in following along and doing these with us. Just make sure to use #wnac2015 so we can see them!
We decided to go with a simple theme and all you have to do is use the colour combinations in your mani for that day; so on August the 7th, you would want to post a mani with yellow and red with a summer inspiration.
Watch out for something awesome coming soon! Follow me on Instagram to find out! :D
Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
