Rustic Geometric Twinnails

Love this cute rustic design

I was approached by Ketaki (@ketakithatte on Instagram) a while back to do twin nails with her and she's been super patient waiting for me to have some time to do them. She had sent over this adorable design, part of something that she sees everyday but never thought to turn into nail art. I loved it immediately. Even if I went a completely different way with my design (I swear I thought it was a darker blue!) I still think the overall design is so cute. It gave me a chance to do some random free handed lines and it was a design that I knew right away I could do without having to worry about precision or being too neat.

I started with a white base because I wanted the colours to pop, then I added the black lines with acrylic paint. I used a striping brush to fill in the colours and used a dabbing method to do the blue part. I didn't want perfect coverage for the blue so I opted to do a different method to get a more stressed effect. :)

I quite love the end result. I'm perfectly ok with a messy design :)

Love the holo in these polishes so much!

Ok! That's all I have today! I hope you liked this rustic design. I just love how bright and fun it is! :D

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
