H&M Nail Polish - Swatches/Review

Some H&M pretties!

So I was chatting to a few of my nailies one weekend and they started talking about H&M having a new beauty line out. I was already out and about so I decided to stop into the H&M near me and take a look. As luck would have it, this H&M did carry the nail polishes so of course I had to spend at least an hour looking at everything and finally decided on giving these 6 a try.

I hadn't heard much about these polishes so I was pretty excited to give them a try. The bottles come in 8 ml and did have a wide range of colours and finishes. The formulas are smooth and nice and the brushes are wide and flat and is slightly rounded. I really loved the brushes, it could cover almost my entire nail in one stroke lol. I do have smaller nail beds though so that's probably why. But for those who love a wide flat brush, these are pretty awesome.

Ok, let's get to the pictures!

First up is Green As Gold - a gold to green to blue multichrome that covered in 2 coats. The blue was really hard for me to pick up on camera, but you can see it very clearly on the bottle that I'm holding. I did the swatches with 1 coat over black on my pinky and ring finger, and 2 coats on its own on my index and middle finger along with a top coat. The formula was a bit streaky though - at least I found it to be. I did like the shifts, they came out nicely in real life on the nails.

Cinnamon Spark is a sheer multichrome that goes from orange to pink to gold. I did 3 coats on its own along with a top coat in my swatches. I had no streaking issues with this one. I liked the colours, I think they are super soft and pretty.

Science Fiction is a blue to green duochrome. I found the formula pretty sheer and a bit streaky. I only did 1 coat over black on my pinky and ring finger, and 2 coats on its own for my middle and index along with a top coat. You can see at the bottom of my nail, near the cuticle, on  my index finger how sheer the polish actually is. I should have used a 3rd coat for full coverage.

Treasure Chest is one of my favourites from H&M. It's a clear polish packed with gold microglitters, silver flecks, and small hex shaped holo glitters. It dries textured on the nail. I used 2 coats and a top coat. Some people might want to use 2 coats of top coat to make it fully smooth depending on how thick your top coat is. It is such a fun polish though. The gold is soft, which I absolutely love, so it's definitely work appropriate, but the holo adds something fun when you are ready to go have drinks or have some fun.

Precious is another sheer multichrome. When I look at it, I see gold/yellow, bronze, burnt orange. I'm not sure what the intended colours are but that's what I see when I look at it. Really pretty although a bit too glam for me lol. The gold/yellow is a lot more pronounced in this one though.

And finally, Pink Fizz. This one I almost by passed, but then upon closer inspection decided to give it a shot. This one is actually a lot of fun. It's a clear polish with pink/green iridescent hex glitters with intense blurple glitters. Here I did 2 coats over a black base along with a top coat. I really liked this polish :)

And that's all I have today! I hope you guys enjoyed my post - did you have a favourite? :)
