Colour Block Nail Art

Super simple!

Loving this colour block nail art today!

Sometimes the simplest manis are the ones you appreciate the most. When they are uncluttered you get to really enjoy the little things; like how straight your free handed lines are! lol. But seriously, how nice are these 3 colours together? And they were opaque enough to easily overlap and not make a gloppy mess.

I didn't use anything to protect the skin around my nails, but I definitely should have. You can use a liquid latex or even tape to cover so you have less clean up. I dispise clean up lol - I'm too lazy for that stuff. I'm bad, I know :P

I use to think pink was my favourite our of these 3, now looking at the mani, I love them all!

The crystal was a nice touch too I think :D I used a wax pencil (you can get from eBay) to easily pick up and place the rhinestones.

And that's it for all my randomness!

I started making tutorials so if I do decide to make one for this mani, I'll post it once it's done. :)

I hope you like this simple block mani!

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.

  1. I can't wait to see the tutorial because I'm dying to know how you get your lines so straight.

    1. The easiest way is to be very deliberate with your brush strokes. I wasn't too worried about messing up because it was an easy design that had a bit of room if I made mistakes. You just need to picture where you want your colours to go and do it in one fluid motion. Hope that helps! :)
