WNAC - August 2015 Round Up

Summer themed August WNAC 2015!

It's time for the round up of my own #WNAC2015 for August!

I like to think that my pictures and nail art are getting better with time but that could just be all in my head :)

Our prompts were colour combos and everyone just had to pick a shade within each given colour and run with it. I, like most others who participated, found it quite difficult to come up with summery designs but I think we all did an amazing job in the end. It was really about allowing everyone to be as creative and as expressive as they could be while seeing what colours could really work together to make beautiful art. I quite enjoyed this challenge, as I do all of our other challenges :)

First up was Lemon and Cherry which I decided on a simple dotty patch type thing lol, see the full post here.

For Magenta and Navy I did a bit of block work along with some free-handed swirls which I love to do, see the full post here.

For Mint and Lilac I tried something brand new for the base and I think it came out really nice, see the full post here.

And for Peach and Cobalt, I went with a design that I've tried to do many times and failed horribly until now! I love this one a lot and I think there will be more of these to come! See the full post for this hand-drawn design here.

I'm so happy I get to do what I love and share it with people and have people supporting me in it. I love the challenges and hope to see it continue for a long time. I always am in awe of all the talented people who participate and I'm glad to see them get some joy out of sharing and participating as well.

Here is our September challenge for all those who wants to join in. Just make sure to take #WNAC2015 so we can see your creations.

This month is about the rich colours of gems, the beautiful shades of deep yet vibrant reds in rubies, rich greens in emeralds, hypnotizing colours in opals, and any other gem stones you'd like to use in your design along with the appropriate prompts. I've never done plaid before so I'm excited to give it a good try!

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
