This design took forever to do :D
Ok! Time for WNAC - today's prompt is animal print under our gradient theme. I decided to do a reversing gradient and some leopard print.
Is it just me or does a reversing gradient just seem to take a life time to do when you are laying each piece of striping tape down individually? lol - Maybe it's just me being special. I haven't worked with striping tape in a while so I blame that :D
Also, fun fact, I accidentally put top coat over my striping tape instead of taking off my striping tape first on one of my nails but you can't really tell because I've hidden the mistake well enough I think. (Don't look too closely or else you'll see! haha)
I'm not sure why I'm so special today but let's just move along to some pictures :)
Reversing gradient so PRETTY <3
I received these two polishes from the lovely ladies of Fair Maiden Polish and have yet to swatch them - I just went right for some nail art but as you can see from the pictures above, swatches are clearly required and will one day come, when I have some time to swatch untrieds :D
Grey: Fair Maiden Polish - Be Your Own Heroine
Purple: Fair Maiden Polish - Let Your Hair Down
Liquid Latex: Color4nails - Crystalline Nail Veil
Black Acrylic Paint
I wanted to come up with a simple animal print that wouldn't take away from the reversing gradient - which I totally LOVE by the way - and so after some consultations from my WNAC co-hosts, Krsitin and Cristine, I went with a corner-leopard-print-type-looking-thing :D
|Macro! (I just felt like typing that - did you read this? teehee)|
I actually like how it turned out - win!
Ok that's enough of my randomness for one post :D
Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.
