WNAC Gold/Turquoise Glitter Placement

The last June WNAC prompt is glitter under our pattern theme

I had tried many different designs and each one just didn't fit with what I thought this prompt should be. They weren't technical nailfails so I will eventually share them, but they just weren't cohesive to the challenge so that's why I kept trying.

I don't know what I was thinking when I came up with this, but I really wanted to use the turquoise loose glitters so the stars were how I decided to incorporate them in.

My super sparkly silver holo base is Alloy Matey by KB Shimmer which you can find on the Harlow And Co website - I have the swatches of this stunning polish here.

I am actually quite happy with the outcome - I thought the gold was a nice offset to the turquoise. I had worn this out in the sun and man was this many ever sparkly and distracting! I just love that stuff though, especially in the sunshine - just blinding everyone and everything :D

I hope you like it! :)

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to check out my little corner :) Feel free to leave me comments/suggestions/feedback below.

  1. Goodness me ... that must have taken such a lot of patience to complete! How do you apply the glitters so accurately? Do you have a tool that you use? :)

    1. I just use a dotting tool since it's small enough that I can see where I'm putting down my glitter :)
