Holo Blobbicure

I love this colour combo - just LOVE it!

So I was kind of failing at this nail art business until I did this blobbicure. <3

I don't actually like dotticures - I have no reason at all for why I do not like them but I prefer blobs :D

I used just two polishes for this design, and a tiny dotting tool.

oOoOo - holo

The trick to any good blobbicure, is to work with slow drying polish, and working as quickly as you can when doing your blobs. To achieve this look, you just want to do dots. I do mine in a vertical pattern starting with the middle line and then working my way over to the right and then to the left from the middle - does that make sense? :( (I hope so!)

LOVE!
Finally, let your design dry before adding a top coat so that your wet polishes don't smudge and that's it!

So easy! So pretty! Nothing better in my opinion :D

  1. Hmmm ... this is lovely! I like the colour combination (Rose Adagio is one of my favourites and you've really captured the sparkle well in your pic) and also how you've reversed the accent nail. You're right, it is quite different to a dotticure. Lovely!

    1. Thanks Kathryn! I thought the accent was more subtle and wasn't sure if anyone would actually notice the reversal I did but clearly you have a sharp eye! :)

  2. I just love the names you are giving, blobbicures and dotticures, they sound so cute. Yes your blobbicure looks great and personally I love these colors.
