WNAC Pastel Florals and A Discount Code!

These are flowers - just squint ;)

Every time Friday comes around, I feel like singing that song... you know it... and you're singing it... just like I am lol :D

Ok! Today's WNAC prompt is pastel floral. OMG, I LOVE THESE! I have no idea what kind of flowers they are, but that's not important; what IS important, is that they were the simplest things to do so I did them on both hands! I rarely get to do art on both hands, I'm just not ambidextrous - sad right? :(

So for this design, I only used two polishes and a needle; that's it! :O

Here are the steps:
1. Apply base coat and 1 coat of polish - let completely dry on all nails
(You need to now only work on one nail at a time)
2. Paint one nail with a thick second coat of polish
3. While the polish is still wet, take the second polish and make little blobs on the wet polish
4. Take a needle and do little swirls in different directions until you are happy with the blob flowers
5. Repeat for each nail
6. Allow to dry for a few minutes and then top coat and you're done!

So easy! :)

Polishes used:
Pale Pink: Gilty Girl Cosmetics - You Can't Sit With US
Purple: NVR Enuff - Defense Against the Dark Arts

Lllooovveee!

I think they look like real flowers - lol :)
Before I leave you for the day - I have one more thing to share with you: one of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of connecting with and swatching for is Alanna from Gilty Girl Costmetics. 1. That's a really effective technique ... I've not tried needle dragging yet but I love this design. I like how the two polishes mix and that glitzy purple is gorgeous! :)

    1. I don't plan my manis very well, if the polishes do work, it's mostly by fluke lol :) But thank you! I really love this technique - it's one of my favourites - and best of all, it's SUPER simple. :)
